Juuru church
The legend tells: a church was started to be built in Juuru. Searched for a suitable place. Discussions and consultations have been held, but no one has been able to point to the right place. Then you put the oxen in front of the cart, put a heavy load of stones on top and let them go aimlessly. It was decided as follows: where the load of stone goes over, the church will be built there. Oxen carried the load for a long time. In the end, the cart's wheels got stuck behind a big oak and the stone load sank to the side. A church was built there and named Juuru church. Juuru church is located in Juuru village in Rapla county.
