Maidla manor
Maidla manor is located in Rapla county, Rapla municipality, Maidla village. Maidla manor, located near Rapla in the parish of Juuru, is one of the five manors of that name. The manor (German: Maidel), first mentioned in 1452, was probably built in the Middle Ages as a fortified residential building or small fortress, from which the basement rooms of the later building with huge thick walls have been preserved (mõis.ee).
